Some information about the devices:

Weapons:

Industrial laser uses only energy, but only shoots forward.

Railgun turret can shoot in any direction, but requires metal.

Nuclear rocket is self-guided to the nearest target, but requires metal and nuclear fuel.

Shields:

Static protects only when turned on.

Dynamic protects all the time, but uses a lot of energy to activate.

Engines:

Magnetic uses only energy, but slow.

Ionic uses energy and metal.

Nuclear uses only nuclear fuel.

Batteries:

Restorative does not break, but has a small charge.

Disposable has a large charge.

Generators:

Quantum gets energy from nowhere, but slowly.

Nuclear requires nuclear fuel.

Thermal works from the energy of heating other devices.

Here are the damage mechanics:

First, the damage goes through all static shields starting with the first one (if they are enabled). Then through dynamic ones. Then it hits a random slot. If there is a device in it, it reduces its level. If the level drops to 0, the device is destroyed. If the slot is empty, it is destroyed. If after destroying a slot the damage has not ended, the next slot is selected. If the slots are not finished - the game is over.
